Ingredients
Bottom Layer
1⁄2 cup melted butter
1 (18 ounce) box yellow cake mix (without pudding)
1egg
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 cup chopped pecans
Topping
1 pound bag/box powdered sugar
1 (8 ounce) package softened cream cheese
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup shredded coconut (sweetened or unsweetened both work)
Preparation
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
2. Mix butter, cake mix, 1 egg, cinnamon, and pecans together.
3. Spread mixture and pat down evenly into a greased 9x13 pan.
4. In a large mixing bowl, combine powdered sugar, cream cheese, vanilla extract, and 2 eggs.
5. Add coconut and mix well.
6. Pour over top of the bottom layer in the 9x13 pan.
7. Bake 45 minutes at 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
8. Remove from oven and place on a wire cooling rack to cool completely.
9. Once completely cool, cut into squares.
